The Sports Boosters organization is a volunteer community based non profit organization whose primary purpose is to promote Perry Schools Athletics programs. The Sports Boosters provides both funds for many major projects and countless volunteer hours that aid in making athletics successful here in the community. Funds are raised mostly through concessions and our annual fundraising dinner held in January. We encourage you to attend this dinner where so many residents and businesses find fellowship in our athletic community.

In recent years some of the funding projects have included for Track and Field – New High Jump Mats, New Pole Vault Mats and Hurdles; for Baseball Field Improvements including Fencing, Irrigation and soon to be New Dugouts; for Football – New Helmets, Refurbished Helmets, New Shoulder Pads, New Scoreboard and Goal Posts; for Softball Field Improvements and Fencing. In addition Loans have been offered for Uniforms within Girls Basketball, Softball, and Football.

Sports Boosters has also funded several projects for the improvement of Bump Lardie Field. As already mentioned, the Electronic Scoreboard and Goal Posts were replaced, a New PA system was installed, and renovations took place on the Concessions Building. The Bump Lardie Field is Home to Football, Cheerleading, Marching Band, Track and Field, and Graduation Ceremonies. In addition the Soccer Field and our opposing teams receive the benefit from the Sports Boosters funded Mobile Concessions Trailer. Overall, more than $100,000 has been invested in long term facility investments through the efforts of the Sports Boosters organization.
